Pete has over 40 years of experience in tax and financial services. After working as an auditor for Arthur Young & Company and manager of transfer pricing for GD Searle, he established his private practice in 1983. As a sole practitioner, Pete built a firm that served individuals, closely-held businesses, partnerships & tiered partnerships, trusts, & not-for-profit entities. Since the mid-1990s, Pete has also been selected by major national and international insurance companies to analyze and adjust large and complex financial loss claims.
In addition to Pete’s tax expertise, he has also developed several financial models for various individual and business applications. He attributes the quantitative skills he developed in the engineering program at Northwestern University as the basis of his knowledge in computer modeling. To this day, he is still creating new innovative financial models that provide great value to his clients.
In 2015, he formed Rub & Brillhart, LLC with Scott Brillhart to continue and expand the services he has been providing since 1983.
